Welcome

Hello and welcome to Bedside Matters Podcast. As a university professor I see students struggle every day with a multitude of issues. As a practicing RN and preceptor these issues don’t end, they change. This forum was developed to help new and existing nurses navigate the waters of change and practice. It will allow people to share their experiences to hopefully help each other so that the struggles won’t continue.  We will discuss nursing and health related topics. Bedside Matters Podcast will discuss issues that occur at the bedside. We will also discuss “matters” in healthcare that affect the bedside and the care provided. Guest speakers will become part of the conversation as we move forward. It is my dream we as nurses become part of the solution of various education, bedside, and health care issues. Please join me and weigh in on issues regarding nursing in health care environment today because what happens at the bedside…..matters.
